Primitive codes of texting decoded

Texting short cuts decoded
A week back when I visited the blog of Dictionary.com slideshows, I came across an interesting topic covered by them. Which is in daily use for all.

We all use the text messaging services everyday. There are lot of messaging shortcuts and codes which are used to save the time while texting. For example, when we are going to break the conversation we just type BRB which means 'be right back'.

Likewise, there are some very vintage codes to represent our mood and works. All these codes are to escape from the hunt of time. This is a good time saver, code language.
To them who don't know what the code really means, it's completely a blind thing to them. These conversational codes are popular from many years.

These codes are time saving, besides using them is a proud ful fun.

Below are such old and gold codes and their interpretation with the situational examples.

IRL
This means in real life  and is used as a mark to say that whatever happening is in the real life. And here real life means not being in online. Offline livelihood is nothing but a real life.
This is generally used while in conversing in a social site(s).

TL ; DR
This is used by readers mostly while they interact with any blogger/writer in an online conversation. This means Too long ; Didn't Read . when any article is referred to any reader and if it is too long then this code is used.

GPOY
This is a code to represent the costless work. It means Gratuitous Picture Of Yourself. When a free of charge picture or a complementary picture is made then this code is used.

NSFW
This code is work related one, a specific protected task or a private one.
This means Not Safe For Work. A office PC or any sheet of government are the best examples for this. We cannot use them for our own sake and information shared on these will have no protection.
Also this code is used to represent the unsafe conditions.

SMH
This is an emotion code, it says the action of our human body and it is Shaking/Shake My Head.
When something we heard which we aren't going to agree with it, this SMH code is used.

TBH
Mobile texting is not a face to face one hence no expressions are seen with an eye. Trueness, honesty and more qualities are only representated with the codes and smiles in the texting manner.
TBH stands for To Be Honest, it is used to show the honest while conversing.

NBD
This is the code to represent the ease of task and the confidentiality rise with this No Big Deal.
NBD is used to say that the work can be done and finishes successfully without any objection and obstacles.

IMO
This is an opinion code, In My Opinion. It is used when the reviews or the opposite person asks for an opinion on a particular subject.

JSYK
This is Just So You Know, a wide range used code to tell someone about the topic which they know it before.

There are many other codes which are used in our daily conversations.  Watsapp, Facebook and other social networks are the witnesses of these codes.

One truth about usage of these short codes is they cause the spellings break, we use 'wt' for what and 'njy' for enjoy viz,. There are many such words we compressed for our flexible typing and to make conversations friendly. I heard those who used to chat much with these codes, they wrote this same codes in their examinations. This is the only drawback of using these codes.

What about you? Do you use such codes? Do share your opinion on usage of them and if you got any new decoded term feel free to share in the comment section.
