To know Christ one has to know about his childhood, adulthood and his death and resurrection. All the information is in the Bible and you need not research about it anywhere.

What principles he followed and how did he go so close to the God even being in the human form. These things will inspire us and make us more ready to participate in the congregation of Christ and help us to know more deep about Jesus Christ.

To know the power of Jesus’s resurrection and the love of God from heaven, daily read the Bible and get inspired by the verses in it. Jesus life is like a mirror, in which we have to watch ourselves always to lead a holy life.

Today am going to select the key verse from the Philippians and I will not go anywhere from this, but I’ll end the devotional within this single verse.

I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,  and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. – Philippians 3: 10-11

In the above verse, it says that participating in the sufferings of Jesus will reveal more about him. We all now have a doubt that how can we participate in his sufferings? Well, we don’t need to bear the wood cross along the roads, just we need to do one single thing, that is to lead our lives with holiness.

It Is good to suffer sometimes - World's Showcase

You may ask me how we can participate in the suffering by just living the life. Because leading this life is always a big challenge for us. There are millions of chances of falling and very few chances to turn to God, however, God’s way is a narrow gateway to enter.
Standing firmly with the Christian policies and not abandoning God during an unanswered prayer is necessary. Many will preach about reaching to Jesus will make your wealth double and you will not have any kind of suffering or pain, I will call that as a Gospel misleading. There is no such a luxurious way to enter into the God’s kingdom. We all have to suffer, in that suffering, we will find God and we can experience his unconditional love.

We need to resurrect from the lives which we are living in, full of hatred and sins. We need to take a new birth and then we can walk with God. To walk with him, we need to know how the path would be, it’s not a shortcut to take, it’s a whole life journey through all the sufferings and challenges.

May these lent days in 2017, turn us to God and build the very strong rock basement of faith in Him.

Prayer:

Holy Lord, thank you for speaking to us through the Bible. We have sinned and corrupted our figure in your sight, we are now here in your presence, asking you for the forgiveness and deliverance from those sinful shackles. Lord, we aren’t perfect, we will always fall and please guide us in your good path.
Thank you for making us realize what we have done, we are aware of all the pain you’ve undergone during your journey of life on this earth, help us out of all the demonic practices and make us pure. In the Holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen!
