World Day Against Child Labour - 12 June 2015
Child labour is the biggest challenge for the development of a country. As it is a highly encouraged crime by the people who lost their decency and drag children into the mire of work.
Half of the children are also working in the hazardous sectors, where they face danger in every step.
This must be prevented, otherwise it will become a most dominated social evil in coming years. There are many campaigns conducted by the Anti-Child labour organizations and some are also involved with government support. It is a happy thing to say when compared to the previous stats the decrement is occurred in the child labour.
The more sad thing than the child labour is the 'child-beggars', these both are different topics but this hurts much when we see them begging on roads. And these children are powered by their parents and they force them to beg. There is a need to consider this too along with the child-labour.
This year ILO is focusing on the free education to every child, following with the other two principles.
In our India, we may have seen many children sharing their testimonials on how they are leading a life of student by letting that labour off from their shoulders. Many videos are under this category.
Let us hope for their bright future and build a country with some talents as outcomes of hard work. Education is a necessity to all, it is a right.
One have to react in the right time to save the children, when it is delayed there will be a negative thinking developed in the children's mind. This may be fatal to the society when they are grown up. Their immature mind is ready to turn towards anything, if we can catapult it in a good path. The result will be good and helpful to the society. Otherwise, the ill treatment which they undergo makes them the villains and rogues.
Let us Work together for better achievements.
